I had a realization about Janet reassuring Jason
She’s ACTUALLY reassuring US. Because in that moment, JANET IS A METAPHOR FOR THE VIEWER.
She tells him:
“[T]o me, you won’t even really be gone. I don’t experience time the same way you do. I kind of live all times at once. To me, remembering moments with you is the same as living in them.”
Why is that? Because her eyes are essentially cameras and her memories have the ability to replay in her head perfectly due to her PERFECT memory, EXACTLY how it happened.
We’ll never truly lose Jason. Or Eleanor or Michael or Chidi or Janet or anybody. Why? Because we also have Janet’s ability, to go back to any given point in the series and rewatch and replay their journey perfectly, exactly like how we remembered it. And it’ll have a good ending, every single time, and that will never change.
